Continuous Improvement Visit Parent Survey

The United States Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) in Washington, D.C. will be visiting two South Carolina state agencies the week of October 31, 2011. These visits are part of their continuous improvement monitoring process. OSEP will meet with BabyNet (FirstSteps) and the South Carolina Department of Education for a verification visit to learn how the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is working for South Carolina families and their children.

OSEP has asked that parents take a brief survey to share their experiences. Responses are confidential, names will not be used and results will be presented in summary form. Your opinion is valuable and will help OSEP evaluate the impact of IDEA.
