Richland & Lexington Youth Support Network Activities
To date the members of the Richland & Lexington Youth Support Network have raised $3,200 in support of their mission.
Richland & Lexington Youth Support Network activities include:
- Monthly support meetings
- Topics have included bullying, internet safety awareness, anger management, suicide prevention, energy drinks, gang awareness and safety, communication and peer support.
- Group bowling
- Christmas gathering December 2009
- 2009 Photovoice Project
- 2009 Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week
- Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day rally at the Capitol
- 2010 Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week Activities
- Nationwide Art Action project at a Richland 1 Elementary School (in collaboration with YCIA)
- 2nd Annual Photovoice Exhibit
