2020 Parent Peer Support Provider Training

The main goal is to equip family members with the skills needed to assist other families who can benefit from their lived experience.
Parent Peer Support Providers:
Are primary caregivers (parents, grandparents, stepparents,
foster parent, etc.) with lived experience raising a child with
emotional, behavioral, mental health or substance use concerns.
Assist families with identifying formal and informal supports.
Reduce isolation of family members while promoting trust and hope.
Provide families with skills needed to make informed decisions.
