Success Story

Having a Parent Peer Support Provider has been nothing short of a miracle! When you have someone that can relate to what your family is experiencing and can give concrete solutions that could be used is a good feeling….having a Parent Peer Support Provider has helped in so many ways by them being a  listening ear, providing enrichment and encouragement and teaching new skills to deal with issues we had. The Peer Support Provider has been motivational from day one. She has always wanted to help or recommend new ways to try different things and different approaches to address a child with behavior issues, help me see things from my child’s point of view or outlook on the situation, always encouraged  me even when the situation wasn’t encouraging and our family has definitely grown from her services. She always finds the good in every situation giving me the push and strength like no other that I need to continue on and reminds me daily of my  purpose. She was like having my own personal cheerleader. I wouldn’t change a thing about that nice April day last year except just meeting her sooner!”
