Kinship Care is the care of children by relatives or close family friends either informally or through SC Department of Social Services. FFSC is offering virtual support groups for Florence County (Pee Dee Region). We will provide a non-judgmental environment for Kinship Caregivers to share: Challenges, Successes, Coping Skills, Parenting Strategies and Resources. The virtual sessions will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 7:00 p.m.  An optional virtual childcare room and meals will be available during the groups. Gas stipends will be provided to caregivers for meal pick-ups. The support groups are free, but registration is required.
