Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

This is an interactive, 8-hour course that prepares parents/caregivers to provide Mental Health First Aid to K-12 grade students.
The Federation of Families is calling all parents/caregivers of Sumter County and other surrounding counties to join us for a two-day training in Sumter County. Parent/caregivers will learn how to make an impact and #BeTheDifference to someone experiencing a mental or emotional crisis.
The two-day training will be held on Saturday, March 7 and March 14, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Both sessions will be 4 hours each to reflect an 8-hour course.
All parents/caregivers must attend both sessions in order to receive the certificate of completion.
*Please note that this training is for parents/caregivers of K-12 grade students.
*CE credits/hours may be available*
