The Federation of Families accepts referrals made by providers. All self-referrals should contact our office at 803.772.5210 or toll-free 1.866.779.0402 to be connected to support.
No, diagnosis is required to make a referral nor to contact us for support.
What is an appropriate referral to us? Ask yourself the following questions:
- Does the child have emotional, behavioral, mental, and/or substance use challenges that are negatively affecting his or her everyday life and the life of their family?
- Is the child aged 25 or younger?
- Would the family benefit from support in navigating the child-serving systems?
If you answered YES to these questions, then you have an appropriate referral!
